Lovin' Sweater!

Wendy Solberg - Sunday, August 02, 2009

There are several new yarns that we have gotten in that I am really enjoying!  I know you all must be tired of hearing me type on and on about Spud & Chloe Sweater!  BUT it is wonderful - and the blog patterns from Susan B. Anderson are wonderful.   I finished the cute frog, Ribbit, this week (no longer missing his head) - and I immediately had to cast on for the watermelon hat.  These projects are so much fun, and the yarn is just a dream.

Pretty cute, huh?  Yes, they are!  If you are interested - I will have kits made up with all the items you need to finish.

Truly one of the best things of the shop is that we get to see a lot of great finished projects...  Here are a few of this weekend's highlights!

Janet's Knitting Girl Needlepoint Box

Jane's Herringbone Rib Sock (out of String Theory Caper yarn)

I know you are shocked - but we do love our shop kitties!  Here is a great snap of Laurel taking a rest on Mom's knitting.  She looks a bit annoyed as I am telling her to pout, give me some sugar, etc.  It could get old on even the most professional supermodel.  :-)

Before I wrap up for this week - there are several key dates to mark on your calendar!   The Best Little Yarn Crawl is slated for the Columbus Day Weekend (10/9 - 12) and Kid 'n New (11/13 - 15).  You will hear more about these as we get closer - but never hurts to really communicate!
