Where Hands Create.

Funny, whenever I see or hear the word "celebrate", I always hear Kool and the Gang with their song, Celebration - "celebrate good times, come on!".  Yes, this does date me - and I do hope some of you are dancing along with the disco balls in your mind!  If you don't know the song - be sure to go to Amazon and/or iTunes and listen to their teaser so I do not feel so "odd".  Now back to the main part of the blog now that you have the soundtrack.

Getting in my car last night to drive away - I had to stop and look back at the shop.  All I could think was "wow" - that is our shop!   Yes, I did call Mom on the cell phone and share with her too (even if she was just a block up the street).  I think we have put together a neat shop in a neat town and drawn neat people to join us.  We will celebrate our six-month annivesary on April 15th - can you believe it?!   Celebration!  Thanks to each of you who have made this an amazing six months and allowed the dream to materialize.  

Now to fun and somewhat trivial fodder....  Yesterday, while knitting away making the Spring Sweater - Noro came up for a visit and curled up for a snooze in my knitting bag (with my sweater below him).  In this picture - doesn't he look like he is laughing at THE funniest joke? 

In truth - it is a big Noro yawn...  But this is still a great picture and I can always use the proof that someone laughed at my jokes once!
